Birthday Excitement

When was the last time you were this happy when you woke up on your birthday?

Happy Birthday Jaxon

I can't believe my baby is 4 today! Jaxon couldn't be more excited, this is how our conversation went as soon as he woke up this morning.

Jaxon: Mom, am I four now?

Mom: Yes, buddy you are four.

Jaxon: Am I really four?

Mom: Yes, you are really four.

Jaxon: I can't believe I am four, I always wanted to be four!

Jaxon is such a blessing in our lives. We are amazed everyday how smart he is. He has such a crazy imagination, some of the stuff he comes up with is so crazy. He is such a crazy boy. Right now his favorite things to do are; playing video games, riding his bike, going to preschool, writing his letters, coloring, all sports, jumping on the tramp, and playing with his sister. I can't believe how fast kids grow up!

Vacation

I find it kind of ironic that since I have been back from our vacation I haven't been able to find enough time to update this blog, but now that I am at work I have ample time :) We left last Tuesday for Orlando, I was nervous to see how Ashlyn would do on the airplane because she started to get sick that morning. She was a trooper and never cried once, although she did fill her diaper NUMEROUS times. Those lavatories on the airplanes even seem smaller when you are changing a diaper in there on your lap every half-hour. Once we got to Florida it was super fun. Our hotel was on Disney property so they provided shuttle transportation, which was nice to be able to come and go as you please. We hit all four parks, my favorites were Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I think we all absolutely loved the new Toy Story Mania ride in Hollywood Studios. Jaxon went on every ride he was tall enough to go on. His favorites were Toy Story, Nemo, Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, and of course all the rides in Kiddie Land. He wasn't too fond of the 3D movies, I had to take him out in the middle of 'Honey I Shrink the Audience' and he refused to go to anymore. Ashlyn did great, as always, she is the perfect baby to travel with. We had a great vacation with the whole family, Thanks Dad!

Preschool

Today was Jaxon's first day of preschool and he couldn't be happier. When I woke him up this morning and told him he had to get ready for school, he sat right up with a grin and said "Do I really get to go to school today!?!" Today was a short day, it was for the kids to get oriented with the classroom set up and meet their teacher. Jaxon was sad when it was time to go, he is VERY ready to go learn new things and meet new friends.
