Tiny Bug

Good things come in small packages and Breanne is no exception.  She is the littlest thing - at her last weigh in she was in the 2nd percentile for weight and 20th for height.  Don't tell her she is little though because she thinks she is pretty big stuff.  She has always been the first (before Brynlee) to sit, crawl, walk, and now run.  She loves to carry around objects with her while she is walking around, they usually weigh about as much as she does :)  Breanne is the first shy baby I have ever had.  Unless she knows who you are she will not come and see you.  I hate that most people don't get to see the real happy, funny baby girl we all know because she is so anxious.

What Breanne is up to...

Her favorite place to be is in the bathtub.  As soon as she hears me start to fill up the tub she comes running in the bathroom and tries to climb in. Ever since she was able to sit up she has loved to take baths.  She will  put her face in the water and blow bubbles.  She will dump water on her head with a cup and has no fear in the tub.

Bre loves animals, especially cats and dogs.  She loves to make their noises, meow and boo woo.

She loves to run around the kitchen table with Brynlee and thinks it is the funniest thing ever.

She is such a busy little body, she can't even sit still to drink a bottle, she will walk around drinking as she gets into things.

She falls asleep in the car as soon as we get driving anywhere.

When she is done eating or doesn't want to eat what is in front of her she throws all her food on the ground so it is empty.

She has recently started pulling out her bows and elastics after I have done her hair.

She will pet Brynlee on the head like a dog and say "nice, nice."

Words she can say; Momma, Dadda, ba ba, nice nice, kitty, meow, boo woo, bye-bye, nite nite, doggie, num num, thanks, ah oh, whats that, poo poo, and stinky.

I cannot imagine my life without my sweet tiny bug!

The Aquarium

A few weeks ago I read online that if you dressed up like a penguin you could get free admission into the Living Planet Aquarium, in honor of Penguin Appreciation Day.  So the kids ran downstairs to put on their best back and white clothes and we headed out the door.  It was already around four o'clock and I knew the aquarium closed early so we headed over for only a couple of hours.

The little penguins

My kids love the frogs.  While we were there a guy had a tape-measurer that he was putting in their habitat and the frogs kept jumping and biting at it.  The kids thought it was great, I am sure the staff wouldn't be very happy about it if they knew.

The Childrens Museum

For some reason this winter has seemed extra long and boring.  The kids and I have had spring fever for a while now and can't wait until it is warm enough to play outside again.  We get bored in the evenings when Dad goes to work and are always looking for fun things to do.  One of my favorite places to take the kids is the Children's Museum down at the Gateway Mall.  There is so much for the kids to do and the have a lot of fun every time we go.  My only complaint is that it is a little pricey, eight dollars for a one year old seems a little too much, especially when you have two of them :)  So we always watch for coupons.

They have a really fun ball play area.

The kids are allowed to touch everything and they really let their imaginations run wild.
There are different sections for the kids to play make-believe in; construction zone, grocery store, garden, water-table, farm and a house.

Most of the excitement happens on the main floor but upstairs there is every kind of building toy imaginable.  The kids love to sit down and build all different kinds of things.

This picture reminds me that some of those magnetic toys came home with us.  I found them stuck to the side of the stroller, we have about four of them that I need to return :)

Lil' Monkey

I have never had a baby who has been a climber before, until now.  Brynlee loves to climb in things, especially boxes and drawers.  She will empty the contents of whatever she wants to be in and crawl right inside.  She is so proud of herself once she gets in and thinks it is so funny. She recently figured out how to climb up onto the kitchen chairs. She pulls herself up and start to giggle.

What Brynlee is up to...

I always feel like I can learn a lot from this little girl.  She is such a happy baby!  She laughs at everything and she laughs at nothing.  There will be times when nothing is going on and she just starts to giggle for no apparent reason.

She was my latest walker of all my kids, 13 months, but once she decided to try she took right off.  There weren't very  many wobbly steps, once she figured out what she was doing she was a natural.

Brynlee loves to gives kisses, tongue and all!

She has a sweet tooth and loves fruit and anything sweet and usually stays away from meat.

She had a good head of hair and will usually sit still so I can do it. --------------->

She loves her Daddy and cries when he leaves for work.

She is an early riser in the morning, usually up around 7:00.

She loves computers, phones, ipods, anything with buttons.

Words she can say: Momma, Dada, papa, doggie, meow, boo woo, baba, Mmmm, nice nice, all done, nite nite, ah oh, no no, hi, bye bye, num num.

Brynlee is cuddly and loves to give hugs.

She loves to walk around with thing in her mouth like a puppy.

Everyone loves Brynlee and Brynlee loves everyone!!!
