Christmas Day

Santa Came!

 Last year the kids woke up at 4:00am to get us out of bed to open presents, so I was expecting it again this year.  However, this year I was the one that had to get everyone out of bed at 7:30, we had to get started because our church started at 9:00.

We has a ward Christmas party where the kids heard the story about the Christmas Oranges.  I put some in their stockings and they were seriously SO excited to get them!

Doug's family has a tradition of getting together for Christmas breakfast every year.  This year we decided to have it at our house.  We had delicious food and ate way too much! 



Christmas Eve

The kids were soooo excited for Santa to come this year.  My mom came out to sleep at our house so she could watch the kids on Christmas morning.  We got the kids dressed in the Christmas jammies, read Christmas stories, ate cookies, watched a movie, and left some treats for Santa and his Reindeer.

December Fun

Ashlyn had her winter dance recital in the middle of December.  She was incredibly cute and did an amazing job in her performance.  I am so proud to watch her up on the stage!

Since my brother and his family were going to be out of town on Christmas we decided to have everyone over for our family Christmas party. We played Christmas Bingo, opened presents, ate banana splits, and enjoyed each other's company.
