From Here to Eternity

I can't believe that we have been married for six years! Our anniversary is on June 28th. I am so thankful for my wonderful hubby. We don't have a perfect marriage, but what fun would that be :) Even though we have ups and downs, there are definitely way more ups! We were so young when we got married (19) I am sure that a lot of people were a little nervous. The best thing about getting married when we were young is that we were crazy in love. It didn't matter how much money we made, the house were we lived, or the kind of jobs we had. We knew all of that stuff would work itself out, and it has. I am proud of our family and our lives. I hope that we will stay happy and healthy together for many more years to come. I LOVE YOU BABE!!!

Sweet Baby Girl

I can't believe she is almost nine months old already. Yes, I know it is cliche, but it really does seem like I had her yesterday. I will never forget her unannounced arrival into this world. I am so blessed to have such a good baby. She had such a happy disposition and hardly ever cries. (I think she is my reward for having to deal with her crazy, emotional brother :) ) You can't help but smile every time you look at her. With those big blue eyes and cheesy grin!

Fun in the sun!

Last weekend headed down south to St. George. Doug's parents own a townhouse there so it is always a fun, quick getaway. Doug's dad has really been getting into biking lately, while we were down there he wanted us to go on a bike ride with him. I am still not entirely sure why I decided to go. I have not been on a real bike (spinning classes don't count) for probably two years or so...and my first time out, I attempt a 10+ mile bike ride in the back country of St. george, where parts of the trail were called "the three fingers of death" and "acid drops". After about the first mile in I was cursing myself for going, but after the inital hike up to the trail, I had a blast. We had so much fun we decided to do it again the next day. I only crashed once, down one of the "fingers of death" :) I walked away with a couple of scratches.
Here are some pics from the trip...

Good Things Utah

I just got back from ABC4 studio. My best friend Natalie was a guest host on the show "Good Things Utah." I have never been to a live show before, it was really fun. Natalie did great, she is a natural! Everyone one there was really nice, after the show they let us go up on the set and get our pictures taken.
