First Haircut

Ashlyn has needed a haircut for quite a while but I loved her long hair.  It finally got too long and looked messy all the time.  We went to Cookie Cutters for the big event.

People in the Community

Jaxon's preschool class was learning about people in community a couple of weeks ago.  Mrs. Sweet, his teacher, asked Doug if he would come in and talk to the kids about police officers.  Doug did a great job of talking to the kids and teaching them about being safe.  Once they got on the subject of guns all of the kids kept telling him all about their dad's guns, we learned a lot, preschoolers are not ashamed to tell you anything :)  He also gave them all a plastic badge and let them turn on the lights on his police car.  Jaxon was so proud, and Ashlyn was super excited to get to go in the classroom.

Going Private

Zoo

We have been going a little stir crazy around our house.  Since the babies came, we don't get out of the house very often.  The weather has been a little nicer so we decided to take the whole family to the zoo.  We all had a great time.
