Once I'm Dead

This past year has been a rough one.  I have lost a lot of people I love, and seen people I love lose their loved ones.  My dad, aunt, uncle, a dear friend's spouse all passed away in the past year.  Last week a co-worker lost his wife (who was my same age) and it really hit home.  A few months ago there was a wonderful post on a blog that I follow.  Even though it has been so long since I read it I think about it every single day.  I wanted to share what he wrote because I think it is something we all need to think about.  I started reading his blog after I read about him on the The Pioneer Woman's blog.  The man who wrote this is a pastor, he also loves photography and cooking, two things I would love to learn to do better.  Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!  Click Here :)

Asher Pash

Where do I begin with my wild, crazy, sweet, beautiful little girl.  Oh my goodness, Ashlyn is such a little character.  She is really starting to become her own little person.  Lately she loves to play pretend with dolls, sing songs, dance to music, play on the computer, read books and COLOR.

I know I am prejudice but, I think for a three year old she is getting really talented at drawing and coloring :)

Here are a few of her recent pictures.

Ashlyn takes a tumbling class once a week.  She absolutely LOVES her "dancer class."  She is the youngest in her class and sometimes has a hard time paying attention, she likes to watch herself in the mirror :)  We LOVE LOVE LOVE her teacher Miss Teresa!

Ashy says some funny things - Here are a few of my favorites

"My bum is making me fart."

"I need another kiss because mine fell off."

"My eyes won't let me stop crying."

Ever since Ashlyn was little she has always fallen asleep in odd places.  If I haven't heard from her in a little while I just go check on her and find her asleep.

Last week in Papa's chair.

Tonight at the kitchen counter waiting for dinner

I love this girl SO much!!! I worry that she is my 'middle child' and doesn't get the attention she needs.  She is such an amazing little girl and I can't imagine our family without her.  She is my little princess and those beautiful BLUE eyes of hers melt my heart everyday!
