Little to Big

I wanted to journal how the twins grew in there first year of life.  I have all of their height and weights from each doctor appointment we went to and I wanted to write it down before the information was lost.

I started to take their pictures each month with the same stuffed animal so I would be able to track how big they would get every month. Unfortunately, I only did it the first six months, I think I forgot to do it on their seventh month and then I just kept forgetting :(

Month One

Brynlee 6.83 lbs (11%) 19.72 in (28%)

Breanne: 6.5 lbs (7%) 19.53 in (21%)

Birthday Girls!

Double the fun, double the trouble, double the love and double the CAKE. 

I am in awe that my tiny little babies have turned one, how does time go by so fast?  These are my last babies and it makes me so sad that they are growing up so fast.  I wish they could stay this age forever, they are so dang fun right now! 

   With there birthdays being so close to Christmas we decided not to do any presents this year, we will probably give them a little half-birthday party or something in a few months.  I had to work the day of there birthday so we didn't do anything to exciting, just cake and cupcakes. 

Brynlee loved her cake, she as such a sweet tooth. 

She loved her cake but was very serious about eating as much of it as she could.

Breanne usually doesn't like to eat sweet treats but she absolutely LOVED her cake.

She had fun eating it and loved all the attention.

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THESE GIRLS!!!

Christmas

The kids were a little nervous that Santa wouldn't be able to find us at their grandparent's house, but he didn't have any trouble.  Santa came and the kids were so excited, they both got out of bed at 4:00 AM and tried to wake us up but we made them go back to sleep :)  Here a few pictures of some of the goods.

Relaxation

On the last day of our vacation we didn't have any plans...We drove around and ended up at Coronado Beach.  It was nice to just roll wit the punches and have a day to hang out. 

Remember we didn't know where we were going when we left the hotel so I was not prepared with the proper beach attire.  It was the twins first time at the beach and I didn't know how they would react.  Breanne absolutely LOVE it!  She would have crawled right into the freezing ocean if we would have let her.

My easy going, nothing in the world bothers her, baby girl Brynlee, HATED the beach. 

She was not happy in the sand and wanted nothing to do with it.

Please don't tell DCFS about my dirty, homeless looking babies :)

Sea World

 

 The last park we went to was Sea World.  The day was filled with A LOT of animal shows.  I think we went to every single show they had.  My favorite is the pet show, I am always amazed at how they train the animals to do so many cool things.

Jaxon wanted to sit in the SOAK ZONE even though it was pretty chilly.  After he got splashed from Shamu's tail he decided to join the rest of us in the dry seats :)

Wild Animal Park

On day four of our vacation we headed south to San Diego.  We went to the Wild Animal Park and had a nice quiet day with the animals.  The kids loved all the animals and show that we saw.

You can't go to the park without getting some fun pictures of the animals.
