It is bitter-sweet, our house is officially up for sale. It has been a great starter house for us but, we are ready to move on. There have been many, many hours of hard work put into this house (Thanks to everyone, especially Papa Jeff) to make it our home for the past 2 1/2 years. When we first saw it, it was a disaster, literally. There was knee-high garbage through out the house, no working toilet, holes in the walls, stains in the carpets, broken doors, rotting laminate floors. And yet somehow we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. We replaced almost everything; doors, windows, baseboards, carpets, tile, lights, and a lot of paint. It was a great opportunity for us to earn some equity (which disappeared in this lovely economy) with a little elbow grease. I love my ward and almost all my neighbors :) We hope it will sell, but who knows now days. Here are some before and after pictures.
